Planned on going for a walk in Scarborough, but only got as far as Eglinton and Leslie before changing my mind. Can never say no to the Don.
Always admired the high rises of Thorncliffe Park, towering over the river valley.
I’ve walked this stretch of the Don many times. It was always nostalgic, had many childhood memories here.
But I’ve come to realize that I’m drawn by more than nostalgia. The Don is unique to Toronto, in its scale and form. I’ll never get over it.
