What’s a way to break down a medium-sized city like Guelph? How do you generally describe where something is, where you were? Generally, the broad strokes are enough. Campus. Downtown. South side. Industrial area in the north.
But like many cities, there are neighbourhoods that have names and identities, and they are seldom known to the full extent other than long-term residents, real estate agents, and local politicians.
But like I did for Toronto’s neighbourhoods, I’m trying to change that. I have made a map of 32 neighbourhoods, districts and greenfield areas in Guelph. This is not a definitive guide, but merely my best interpretation.
