2017/04/15 – Beltline and Eg

Rain should peter off soon, time to get a move on. I’ve seen old pictures of hydro poles that delivered power to streetcars, but didn’t know they still existed in this form..

Beltline Trail at Dufferin still expects users to frogger their way across 4 traffic lanes.

Missed connection. Getting over the Allen forces a detour.

Not really missed connections, just private hoarding of land parcels.

Hard to capture with a cell cam, but there’s some smoke on the water going on here. The high point of my trip so far. Literally, not figuratively.

While the war of words continues over a Scarborough Subway, talk about other rapid transit corridors like Jane has fallen off the map.

Final shots of the day, delayed by low battery. Lower Humber, waiting for things to burst into lush green.
